I am trying to replace the swinging arm bearings in a 1985 VMC outfit. the donor bike is a 490 Maico. Unfortunately the bearings from a 1985 solo 490 are not the same as fitted to the outfit. The ones fitted are phos.bronze bushes, machined with grease channels. Looking at the swinging arm it does not resemble the swinging arm from the standard maico solo. Did VMC produce their own swinging arm for this kit or was it a modified standard maico item.
Any help would be appreciated.
