Steering damper for WASP chassis (year 1982)

We have a WASP chassis (year 1982) where the steering damper is mounted under the fuel tank.
A Reiger steering damper does not fit because of its size.

Anyone who has an idea what model would best fit, ideally one that can be adjusted ?

There is a bracket on the fork leg and another under the tank.
